UPRIGHT, a band steeped in the spirit of 1970s funk and soul, will take the stage at Le Marché des Jacobins with unmatched energy and infectious passion.

Since forming in 2022, Upright has captivated audiences with its unique sound, skillfully blending covers of American and British classics with its own original compositions.

Formed in Toulouse, UPRIGHT quickly gained recognition by performing for intimate audiences with whom the band established a deep connection. This special bond inspired the group to create its own songs, paving the way for a flourishing musical adventure.

In August 2023, Upright won the prestigious Castelroc springboard competition, attracting the attention of more than 4,000 spectators and setting the band on the path to success. The group has since performed to sold-out audiences on prestigious stages such as Le Métronum and Le Bascala, Le Rex and Le Phare, alongside ELECTRO DELUXE, who had set the Limoges Opera House alight during the 19th edition of the Eclats D’Email Festival.
