It all started with a music-loving guy from Tours (France) who, back in 2010, captivated the whole of France with his vintage-infused soul.

A voice, a vibe, a breath of fresh air. On the airwaves, on screen, and on stages everywhere, Ben the soulman spread his gospel and carved out his path through a fruitful decade: a live show at Paris’ Zénith, an album with California’s Monophonics, a personal take on Sinatra, and finally Addicted To You in 2020—revealing a new Ben, now a father and determined to take full control over his artistic output.

From this vision was born Enchanté, his own label, his creative home. With a tight-knit team by his side and free from the marketing constraints of major labels, Ben shifted the focus back to what matters most: a deep love for music and the thrill of collaborative, instinctive creation.

This paved the way for Red Mango (2022), a radiant Jamaican escapade, followed by Is It You? (2023), a spiritual gem crafted with a live band feel and his trusted stage companions. After a 150-date international tour, and the release on his label of Linda Lee Hopkins’ aptly titled Spirit & Soul, it was time to switch things up: to fuse beatmaking with his passion for singing freely, energized by the pulse of live drums.

With Sad Generation (2025), created alongside a golden duo of multi-instrumentalist producers, Ben delivers a bold, thrilling, and remarkably cohesive new chapter—a reflection of an artist in his early forties, ready to walk through every door his creative maturity opens.
