Discovered during the « Acoustic Club » nights in Limoges proposed by our friend YvanSerrano, this duet sounds like a « Portico Quartet » -to-be, one of the best regional initiatives. Cradled and influenced by such artists as Muse, Yann Tiersen or Ludovico Einaudi, Pascal Coupez on the saxophone and Thibault Fonbeure on the piano draw their ideas and inspirations from their various musical backgrounds. From classical music to waltzing tunes including more contemporary rhythms, Altaïr offers an experimental and dreamlike style. So let this invitation carry us away through their musical tales.
