A quintet always firmly focused on swing, they perform traditional jazz themes inspired by Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Django Reinhardt and many others. Jean-Claude Guyonnet, trained as a drummer and converted to the washboard, Raoul Vaugelade on the banjo, Patrick Savineau on contrabass, Sylvain Bouard on keyboards and finally Claude Laroudie on horns and the linchpin of this band, all bring this swing & New Orleans sonority complemented by a nice and friendly retro look, the friendliness they love sharing with the public. The Halles centrales all in jazz for that Saturday morning when it will be good to sample Limousin specialties and sip happily.
