Young 17-year-old guitar player Alès DEMIL is from La Rochelle. He has played the guitar since he was 8. He was discovered during the “Tremplin d’Action Jazz” in 2021 where he was awarded the Blue Note prize and revealed the following year by the Andernos Jazz Festival.
His trio with Lucca Ferrari on drums and Damien Thebaud on organ follows a tradition among jazz guitarists, with a rhythmic serving the soloist and an electro-acoustic playing based on improvisation. Beyond his stunning technique, he will mainly perform the group’s compositions. The leader’s youth and really promising talent, his music, conjure up, among others, Pat Metheny, Pat Martino, George Benson, all references on which he bases himself to build up his own identity.

In 2023, they release “Belle Joie”, their very first album, in collaboration with great guests from various horizons such as Biréli Lagrène, Antoine Boyer, Etibar Asadli. Great moments to come…not to be missed.
