A coproduction by OXYMORE \/ FESTIVAL \u00c9CLATS D\u2019\u00c9MAIL JAZZ \u00c9DITION with the participation of FRANCE T\u00c9L\u00c9VISIONS and with the support of the CENTRE NATIONAL DU CIN\u00c9MA ET DE L’IMAGE ANIM\u00c9E. On 17 November 2026, the Jean-Gagnant Cultural Centre will host the premiere screening of Christie Dashiell\u2019s concert, as part of the 20th Festival \u00c9clats d\u2019\u00c9mail Jazz Edition.<\/p>\n

This screening will shine a light on the powerful and refined world of one of the great voices of jazz, recently revealed on the international scene.<\/p>\n

This concert will also be available on france.tv.<\/p>\n

SARAVAH by Pierre Barouh<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Saravah is not a documentary, but a document.
\nIndeed, Saravah is not a didactic film about the history of Brazilian music in the 20th century, but the historical film in which all the Brazilian stars of the future are approached with simplicity by Pierre Barouh. And it is because Pierre Barouh is not a filmmaker but the witnessing participant in this encounter\u2014an encounter between the old and the new world\u2014that his film becomes an apology for reality, an artistic and poetic reality\u2026

Exclusive access to the original tools carefully preserved by MuPop \u2013 the Museum of Popular Music in Montlu\u00e7on \u2013 and to Django Reinhardt\u2019s legendary SELMER guitar, kept at the Museum of Music at the Cit\u00e9 de la Musique in Paris, enabled luthiers G\u00e9rald Alonso and Fabian Le Dosseur \u2013 the project\u2019s technical directors \u2013 to carry out meticulous reconstruction work based on an in-depth study of the historic models.
\nTheir quest for precision made it possible to rediscover the wood assembly secrets that made these guitars so successful, while also modernising them. Remaining faithful to their sonic identity, these instruments now benefit from optimised ergonomics and greater playing versatility thanks to the integration of an amplification system.
