From the Funk-Rock of the Seventies to the emergence of the Nu Soul of the mid-Nineties, music has combined Soul and modern styles such as R&B, with rhythms imbued with Hip-Hop along with instrumentations coming from jazz, rock and funk.

With SPIKE UP, we are exactly in the spirit of that music! Though the main ingredient remains Soul, in the end they’ve got the throbbing of Funk in their blood. They were born on a drip of Groove music!
