SOLD-OUT

Pianist Roberto Fonseca proposes an exceptional project this year, a reinvention of the Cuban Cabin, the legendary cabaret of the Montmartre of the 1930s. An invitation to dance to the sound of the heady classics of the roaring twenties in Cuba.

If Roberto Fonseca’s name is today synonymous with the renewal of Cuban music open to everything, from hip-hop to electronic music, including soul or funk, the pianist remains attached to the extraordinary heritage of his island. It was, incidentally, within the legendary Buena Vista Social Club that he was discovered in the early 2000s. Today, he turns to the golden era of Cuban music by rendering the décor and bubbling atmosphere of the Cabin, a cabaret where the whole Paris of the 1930s came to dance the mambo, the rumba or the salsa. A festive and immersive time travel in which the audience is invited to enter, like a date given to swing, dance and sensuality, at a time when there is a need for it every day.
